Laser tattoo removal treatment on a forearm at Ink Blasters in Livonia, Michigan

Laser tattoo removal
in Metro Detroit.

It's the only thing we do. We measure the ink, not the box around it, so you pay for the tattoo and nothing else — $99 for the first square inch, consultation free.

You're not
stuck with it.

Pricing

We charge for the ink.
Not the box around it.

Most places measure a rectangle around your tattoo and bill you for the bare skin inside it. We measure on a grid and count only the squares your ink touches.

$99 First square inch

Then $49 for each additional square inch, up to six.

What that costs by size
1 in$99
2 in$148
3 in$197
4 in$246
5 in$295
6–10 in$344
Over 10At consult

These are per-treatment prices, not the cost of a full removal. Your tattoo is measured and priced in person at the free consultation.

Why that's less than you'd expect
20 sq in Measured as a box, empty middle included.
10 sq in Measured as ink, the way we do it.

Same tattoo, half the billable area. On outlines, script and scattered work the gap is often wider than this.

Other costs to know about
Small pieces $49 per treatment

Teardrops, three to five dots on a hand, and rings.

Topical anesthetic $30 a tube
Payment At time of service

Cash, check or credit card.

Gift certificates Available

Every one of these is a real client, with the tattoo's age, its size, what each treatment cost and how many it took. One cleared in two. One took twelve. Both are here.

The laser

Your whole tattoo.
Not most of it.

532nm Reds, oranges, yellows
785nm pico Blues and greens
1064nm Black and dark blue
400 500 600 700 800 900 1000 1100 nm
Light you can see Infrared

Ink doesn't all come off under the same light. Black lifts under one kind, reds and yellows under another, and blues and greens need a third. The Toro carries all three, so no color has to get left behind.

Most clinics own a machine that does the first one only. That is why some of them turn you away when your tattoo has green in it, and why people come here after starting somewhere else.

Less chance of a scar

Round beams overlap as the laser moves across skin, and those overlaps are hot spots — they are what blisters and scars people. The Toro fires a square spot, which tiles edge to edge and lands the energy evenly.

It hurts less than you think

Chilled air runs over the skin the whole time the laser is working. Most people describe the sensation as a rubber band snapped against the arm.

Very satisfied with my initial consultation, Ryan was very thorough and answered all my questions before I could even ask them. I decided to proceed with my first treatment and am pleased with his professionalism and the results so far, he even text me the following day to see how I was doing. I trust him and plan to continue the process until these old tats are gone.

Removal is the only thing done here. No facials, no injectables, no rotating staff and no upsell to a service you did not come in for. One room, one machine, one person running it.
